SCOUTING REPORT
SCOUTING REPORT
Brian Hall Jr. is a tough, versatile prospect with intriguing upside at quarterback and linebacker. At 6’2, 200, he has a sturdy build that fits both offensive and defensive roles, and his reported 4.8 time at the UTPB football camp in San Antonio shows functional athleticism for his size. As a quarterback, Hall Jr. displays poise in the pocket, enough mobility to extend plays, and the strength to drive the ball to intermediate windows. He appears comfortable operating both under center and in shotgun, with the ability to roll out and throw on the move. His size allows him to withstand contact in the pocket and finish runs as a ball carrier in designed QB concepts. On defense, his frame and temperament project well to linebacker, where he can diagnose plays, fill downhill, and tackle with force as his technique and physicality continue to improve. That dual-skill background enhances his football IQ, understanding what defenses are trying to do from both perspectives. With continued polishing of mechanics at QB and improved change-of-direction and block-shedding at LB, Hall Jr. offers colleges a unique multi-position option with leadership traits and physical upside.
