SCOUTING REPORT

SCOUTING REPORT

Charles “CJ” Lamont Baltimore Jr. is an explosive young two-way playmaker with production on offense, defense, and special teams. At 5’8”, 150 in the 2028 class, he has plenty of physical development ahead, but he already shows dynamic movement and competitive toughness. His stats reflect true versatility: rushing attempts with strong yards per carry, receiving production with explosive yards per catch, and meaningful contributions on defense with solo and assisted tackles plus interceptions. CJ plays with real juice in space — sudden feet, quick acceleration, and the ability to turn short touches into chunk plays. As a receiver, he separates with quickness rather than size, using sharp cuts and tempo changes. On defense, he has natural corner traits: fluid hips, reactive change of direction, and the instincts to break on the ball and take it away. His work on both sides of the ball gives him advanced feel for route concepts and leverage. As he adds strength and long speed, he projects as a dangerous slot/slot-corner combo with special teams upside as a returner. CJ is the kind of early-identification recruit colleges should track closely as he matures physically.
